Import Mode

How and when Etsy orders flow into Shopify

⚑
Live Import
Settings › Delayed Import toggle OFF
Default

Orders from Etsy are queued to Shopify as soon as they are detected (typically within minutes of the sync cycle). No browser extension required. Best for shops where your 3PL or fulfillment system doesn't need a real customer address upfront, or for shops outside the US/EU where Etsy provides full address data via its API.

Best for: Non-US/EU shops where Etsy returns full address data — or shops where customer addresses aren't needed for fulfillment.
⏳
Delayed Import
Settings › Delayed Import toggle ON
Off by default

Orders are held in a "Pending" state until the browser extension visits your Etsy orders page and captures the real customer address and email. Only then is the order sent to Shopify with complete information. This is the recommended mode for US and EU sellers, since Etsy does not return customer addresses via its API for privacy reasons.

Best for: US and EU sellers who need complete customer addresses in Shopify. Requires the OrderBridge browser extension.
Full Delayed Import guide →
Note: Etsy does not return customer shipping addresses or emails via its API for US and EU shops. The browser extension is the only way to capture this data automatically. If you operate in the US or EU and your 3PL needs customer addresses, enable Delayed Import and install the extension.

Order Prefix

Identify Etsy orders at a glance in Shopify

#
Etsy Order Prefix
Settings › Order Prefix
Optional

A short text prefix added to the front of every Shopify order name created from an Etsy order. For example, setting the prefix to ETSY- turns order #4001234 into ETSY-#4001234 in Shopify. Makes it easy to filter and identify Etsy orders in your Shopify admin, reports, and 3PL integrations.

Best for: Shops that sell on multiple channels and want to quickly distinguish Etsy orders from Shopify-native orders in their admin, packing slips, or 3PL dashboard.

SKU Management & Exclusions

Control which Etsy products sync to Shopify

🚫
Excluded SKUs
SKU Management page › Exclude Mode
Optional

A list of Etsy SKUs that should never be imported to Shopify. Common use cases include digital downloads, gift wrapping add-ons, or any product type that doesn't need to exist in Shopify. Orders where all line items are excluded will be stored in the Excluded tab for visibility but will never create a Shopify order. Orders with a mix of excluded and non-excluded items will import with only the non-excluded items.

Best for: Digital product sellers, shops with non-physical add-ons (gift wrap, digital upgrades), or any SKU that doesn't require fulfillment through Shopify.

Revenue Reporting

Keep your Shopify analytics clean

$
Zero-Revenue Import
Settings › Shopify Revenue Reporting
Off by default

When enabled, Etsy orders are created in Shopify with $0 for all line items, shipping, and tax. The order is still marked as "Paid" so fulfillment and tracking work normally — only the revenue figures are zeroed out. This keeps your Shopify revenue reports reflecting only Shopify channel sales, preventing Etsy revenue from being double-counted.

Best for: Sellers who track Etsy revenue in Etsy and only want their Shopify revenue dashboard to reflect Shopify sales. If you use Shopify reports for business performance, this prevents inflated numbers.

Email Marketing Opt-In

Grow your Shopify email list from Etsy orders

βœ‰
Email Marketing Opt-In
Settings › Email Marketing Opt-In
Off by default

By default, customers created from imported Etsy orders have no email marketing consent set in Shopify — meaning they won't appear in your email marketing audience. When this setting is enabled, OrderBridge marks each new customer as "Subscribed" to email marketing at the point of import, so they automatically appear in your Shopify email lists and can be reached via Shopify Email, Klaviyo, or any other connected email platform.

Best for: Sellers who want to include their Etsy buyers in Shopify email campaigns. Only affects customers created going forward — existing Shopify customers are not changed.
Important: Only enable this if your customers have agreed to receive marketing emails — for example, if your Etsy shop communicates that purchasing opts them into your newsletter. Ensure this is consistent with your privacy policy and applicable marketing regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.).

US-Only Import

Automatically skip international orders

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
US-Only Import
Settings › US-Only Import
Off by default

When enabled, any Etsy order shipping to a country other than the United States is automatically excluded from Shopify import. The order is stored in the Excluded tab in your OrderBridge dashboard for visibility, but no Shopify order is created. The order is never modified or deleted on Etsy — you can still fulfill it manually. Only new orders going forward are affected.

Best for: Sellers who use a domestic 3PL or fulfillment service that only supports US shipping, and who handle international orders manually or through a separate workflow.
Note for delayed import users: Since Etsy doesn't provide country data via the API for US/EU shops, international orders will appear briefly in your extension's pending list. Once the extension captures the address and detects a non-US country, the order is immediately excluded and removed from the pending queue.

Force Unmapped Import

Push all orders to Shopify without requiring product mappings

Force Unmapped Import
Settings › Force Unmapped Import
Off by default

When enabled, every Etsy order is pushed to Shopify automatically — even if no product mapping exists for the items. Items that can’t be matched to a Shopify product are sent as custom line items using the Etsy product title and price. They have no inventory link and will not decrement Shopify stock. Items that do have mappings still use their proper Shopify variant as normal.

When this setting is off (the default), any order containing an unmapped item is paused with a “Needs Mapping” status. You can then either create a mapping and click Retry, or click Force to Shopify on that individual order to push it through as a one-off.

Best for: Shops that don’t manage inventory in Shopify and just want orders to flow through without setting up a mapping for every product — for example, shops using Shopify purely for fulfillment or reporting.
Note: Custom line items created by this feature are not linked to any Shopify product. Shopify inventory counts, product analytics, and fulfilment automations that rely on variant IDs will not apply to those line items.

Auto-Restock

Maintain Etsy scarcity signals automatically

πŸ”„
Auto-Restock Etsy
Settings › Auto-Restock Etsy
Off by default

After an order is fulfilled in Shopify, OrderBridge automatically restores the Etsy listing's quantity back to its previous level. This lets you maintain low-stock urgency signals ("Only 2 left!") on Etsy without manually updating inventory after every sale. Your actual inventory is managed in Shopify — the Etsy quantity is purely a marketing signal.

Best for: Sellers who use scarcity marketing on Etsy (low quantities to drive urgency) but have unlimited or large physical inventory. Not recommended for genuinely limited-edition or made-to-order items where running out is expected.

Follow-Up Emails

Automate post-delivery customer outreach

πŸ’Œ
Follow-Up Emails
Settings › Follow-Up Emails
Off by default

Automatically sends a customizable email to customers a set number of days after their order is marked as delivered. Perfect for requesting Etsy reviews, sharing a discount code, or simply checking in. You can fully customize the subject line, message, send delay, and sender details. Emails are sent once per order and only after confirmed delivery.

Best for: Sellers who want to increase their Etsy review count, build customer relationships, or drive repeat purchases. Works best combined with a warm, personal message rather than a generic template.

Tracking Notifications

Keep customers informed at every shipping milestone

πŸ“¦
Tracking Notification Emails
Settings › Tracking Notifications
Off by default

Sends automated emails to customers when their order reaches specific shipping milestones: In Transit, Out for Delivery, and Attempted Delivery. Each status can be enabled independently with its own custom subject line and message. Includes a tracking link button in every email. Delivered through your own Resend account for full control over branding and sender identity.

Best for: Sellers who want to reduce "where's my order?" messages and provide a more professional post-purchase experience. Proactive shipping updates are one of the highest-impact things you can do to improve customer satisfaction.

Integrations

Connect OrderBridge to your other tools

⭐
Judge.me Integration
Settings › Judge.me Integration
Off by default

Connect your Judge.me account to push Etsy reviews directly to your Shopify store's product pages. Once configured, approved Etsy reviews appear in your OrderBridge Reviews tab with a one-click push to Judge.me — no CSV exports or manual imports required. Reviews are matched to products by SKU or title.

Best for: Sellers who use Judge.me for Shopify reviews and want to leverage their Etsy review history to build social proof on their Shopify store.
Full Judge.me guide →
😊
Smile.io Integration
Settings › Smile.io Welcome Emails
Off by default

Automatically sends a branded welcome email to Etsy customers informing them of their loyalty points balance after an order is fulfilled. Configurable with your Smile.io store URL, points-per-dollar rate, custom subject line, and message body. Helps convert Etsy buyers into loyalty program members and repeat Shopify customers.

Best for: Sellers running a Smile.io loyalty program who want to bring their Etsy buyers into the program automatically.
