Every setting in OrderBridge explained β what it does, when to enable it, and what to expect.
How and when Etsy orders flow into Shopify
Delayed Import toggle OFFOrders from Etsy are queued to Shopify as soon as they are detected (typically within minutes of the sync cycle). No browser extension required. Best for shops where your 3PL or fulfillment system doesn't need a real customer address upfront, or for shops outside the US/EU where Etsy provides full address data via its API.
Delayed Import toggle ONOrders are held in a "Pending" state until the browser extension visits your Etsy orders page and captures the real customer address and email. Only then is the order sent to Shopify with complete information. This is the recommended mode for US and EU sellers, since Etsy does not return customer addresses via its API for privacy reasons.
Identify Etsy orders at a glance in Shopify
Order PrefixA short text prefix added to the front of every Shopify order name created from an Etsy order. For example, setting the prefix to ETSY- turns order #4001234 into ETSY-#4001234 in Shopify. Makes it easy to filter and identify Etsy orders in your Shopify admin, reports, and 3PL integrations.
Control which Etsy products sync to Shopify
A list of Etsy SKUs that should never be imported to Shopify. Common use cases include digital downloads, gift wrapping add-ons, or any product type that doesn't need to exist in Shopify. Orders where all line items are excluded will be stored in the Excluded tab for visibility but will never create a Shopify order. Orders with a mix of excluded and non-excluded items will import with only the non-excluded items.
Keep your Shopify analytics clean
Shopify Revenue ReportingWhen enabled, Etsy orders are created in Shopify with $0 for all line items, shipping, and tax. The order is still marked as "Paid" so fulfillment and tracking work normally — only the revenue figures are zeroed out. This keeps your Shopify revenue reports reflecting only Shopify channel sales, preventing Etsy revenue from being double-counted.
Grow your Shopify email list from Etsy orders
Email Marketing Opt-InBy default, customers created from imported Etsy orders have no email marketing consent set in Shopify — meaning they won't appear in your email marketing audience. When this setting is enabled, OrderBridge marks each new customer as "Subscribed" to email marketing at the point of import, so they automatically appear in your Shopify email lists and can be reached via Shopify Email, Klaviyo, or any other connected email platform.
Automatically skip international orders
US-Only ImportWhen enabled, any Etsy order shipping to a country other than the United States is automatically excluded from Shopify import. The order is stored in the Excluded tab in your OrderBridge dashboard for visibility, but no Shopify order is created. The order is never modified or deleted on Etsy — you can still fulfill it manually. Only new orders going forward are affected.
Push all orders to Shopify without requiring product mappings
Force Unmapped ImportWhen enabled, every Etsy order is pushed to Shopify automatically — even if no product mapping exists for the items. Items that can’t be matched to a Shopify product are sent as custom line items using the Etsy product title and price. They have no inventory link and will not decrement Shopify stock. Items that do have mappings still use their proper Shopify variant as normal.
When this setting is off (the default), any order containing an unmapped item is paused with a “Needs Mapping” status. You can then either create a mapping and click Retry, or click Force to Shopify on that individual order to push it through as a one-off.
Maintain Etsy scarcity signals automatically
Auto-Restock EtsyAfter an order is fulfilled in Shopify, OrderBridge automatically restores the Etsy listing's quantity back to its previous level. This lets you maintain low-stock urgency signals ("Only 2 left!") on Etsy without manually updating inventory after every sale. Your actual inventory is managed in Shopify — the Etsy quantity is purely a marketing signal.
Automate post-delivery customer outreach
Follow-Up EmailsAutomatically sends a customizable email to customers a set number of days after their order is marked as delivered. Perfect for requesting Etsy reviews, sharing a discount code, or simply checking in. You can fully customize the subject line, message, send delay, and sender details. Emails are sent once per order and only after confirmed delivery.
Keep customers informed at every shipping milestone
Tracking NotificationsSends automated emails to customers when their order reaches specific shipping milestones: In Transit, Out for Delivery, and Attempted Delivery. Each status can be enabled independently with its own custom subject line and message. Includes a tracking link button in every email. Delivered through your own Resend account for full control over branding and sender identity.
Connect OrderBridge to your other tools

Reviews are matched to products by SKU or title.
Smile.io Welcome EmailsAutomatically sends a branded welcome email to Etsy customers informing them of their loyalty points balance after an order is fulfilled. Configurable with your Smile.io store URL, points-per-dollar rate, custom subject line, and message body. Helps convert Etsy buyers into loyalty program members and repeat Shopify customers.
